Two Things
1) There is nothing that serves as a better motivator giving your upcoming workout 110% than standing in the locker room, changing, and realizing that you're standing next to a girl wearing the exact same pair of panties that you are, and she's clearly not having any of the problems plaguing you and the said panties. 2) Exercising next to some dude who smells like mold. Wait, you know, it's not even mold. It's worse than mold. It's ... it was indescribable. And it made me sad because I had to move away from him. And it was obvious. So, so obvious! I'd only been on the machine for about three minutes. But seriously? He was wearing several heavy layers! And black shoes! I had to move! Didn't I? Posted by Erin at 10:44 PM | filed under: Random commentsWas it the smell of water in a vase of flowers that has gone bad? There was a guy at my work who smelled like that, and it took the rest of us a few month to come up for the right "he smells like..." and that was what won. It was bad. You had to move. posted by: Rosemary Grace at January 12, 2007 01:10 PM Dude - there is nothing worse than working out next to someone who smells!!!! Not even someone who doesn't wipe down their machine after they are done - at least I can wipe it down myself if needed. Blech! posted by: xena at January 12, 2007 02:18 PM Hi there, While browsing the bookstore I came across your book and bought it. I loved it. I read it front to back. Anyway, it inspired me to turn my 2 year private blog into a public one just so I can be fat AND brave. So, thanks for the good read and the inspiration. It's funny how I totally thought I was the only one who wrote the way I do about being fat until I read your book and realized that there are a bunch of girls just like me - sad in a way becauase I thought I was unique (I'm young, give me a break) but also comforting because now it's a little less lonely over here. posted by: Janie at January 13, 2007 11:36 PM

Yea...I'm pretty sure your nose and lungs are better off for your moving. Besides you might have started to hold your breath and passed out on the machine.
