It's always kind of exciting when your friends are a part of something really fantastic. I remember when Rachelle was offered the job at Chicago-based FeedBurner, and we were, for reasons I can't remember now, standing in a bathroom at some bar discussing whether or not she should take the job.

I was all for it, basically because FeedBurner was clearly going somewhere. It took her all of maybe a day to accept the position and I know the job, while crazy and demanding, has been a fantastic move for her and one she's really proud of. She loves the people with whom she works, even if she's surrounded by smelly boys all day.

The rest is history.
