What's Playing On Erin's iPod Right Now ...
He'd seen her around When she showed up He downed a few drinks Out of the blue Will you come with me? I know a place No one has ever Will you come with me? She took his hand She took a deep a breath Will you come with me? Honestly, I have no idea who this person is, her album or ... anything. My friend sent this to me this afternoon and, while he told me not to read the lyrics, and just listen to the song, I did it anyway. I'm clearly not giving you all the same directive. It's been so long since I posted a song - mostly because there hasn't been anything in particular blowing my hair back. I've seen some great bands, and sometimes mean to do an iPod post, but I suck sometimes. Anyway, this is just a sweet little ditty and I like to share sweet little ditties. One day I will post songs that are otherwise, but for now, you get these. Actually, my friend Andrew was here tonight for dinner and introduced me to Johnny Boy tonight - and their song "You Are The Generation That Bought More Shoes And You Get What You Deserve," which, yes UK readers, I know is one you've all been hip to for some time - and that kicks ass. I'll post that one tomorrow. Worth the listen. Posted by Erin at 10:16 PM | filed under: iPod comments |

I really enjoy her music/poetry... try this one...
Not Enough mp3
And we were dancing by moonlight
Tears in my eyes
I whispered goodbye
And tried not to cry and louder
Ran down the staircase, unlaced
A shoe on my way
Didn't look back
Perhaps you'll come after me one day
This isn't a dream and it isn't a fairy tale
Can't just wake up or have godmother cast a spell
And I know, I know I'm really in love
But that might really not be enough
And we were skipping cross rooftops
Your hand in mine
The stars tried to shine
But we were too bright for them all
Then you were falling, calling
My name on your way
Don't know how far
I hope that you landed okay
This isn't a dream and it isn't a fairy tale
Can't just wake up or have godmother cast a spell
And I know, I know I'm really in love
But that might really not be enough
And I was boarding the airplane
You at the gate
It wasn't too late
But it would be in a day or a few
Fastened my seat belt and felt
So that's how it ends
We may meet again
And say we really ought to be friends
This isn't a dream and it isn't a fairy tale
Can't just wake up or have godmother cast a spell
And I know, I know I'm really in love
But that might really not be enough x2
