Thank you, sweets. Some clueless wonder, in an attempt to, I think, take a swipe at some perceived character flaw he or she feels I possess, made a comment at another Web site about Golden Retrievers being the "Wonder bread of dogs," and therefore was not surprised that I owned one.

HA!

This was Glinny yesterday morning. Ever since I started work later in the morning, I've been able to spend loads more time with her. After all of the cuddling, ball-tossing, treats and running around the neighborhood, Glin usually retires to the couch for a nap and a sunbeam while I get ready for work. She's the sweetest, sweetest pup. Just love her.

Dogs, they seem to provide therapy at the most needed of times. I often find that my dog's mere presence is a soothing relief at the end of a bad day/week/month..whatever. I spent a very nice cozy night with my man the Beagle last night....my own little hot water bottle. It was the perfect way to end a shitty day.

I don't think it's an insult, though. I mean, think about it: soft, squishy, pairs well with peanut butter? That's a golden for you!
