Glin Version 0.5
Tomorrow Glin turns six months old. We're all very excited. As we made our way up I-55 after spending the day with Jim and Wendy [and Gracie the Hound], I asked Glin what she wanted for her birthday. "Peanut butter surprise!" "What's that, Glin?" "Peanut butter ..." *pause* "... when I least expect it." Luckily, my golden is not (yet) as destructive as he was, but she did eat my iPod cord, and I'm still trying to decide whether to forgive her for that. posted by: Shannon at January 16, 2006 06:45 PM If someone would make their way down I-55 to J-Town they would find in their stash of Christmas presents, the book Marley & Me. I hear it's a great read! Luv you guys! posted by: Lynette at January 17, 2006 09:04 AM |

Hee!
This reminds me: Have you happened to read Dogs of Babel, in which the narrator tries to teach his dog to talk because she was the only witness to his wife's death, and the hours preceding it? It's a pretty good novel. I didn't LOVE love the end, but it's definitely worth reading. The hardcover is on remainder for $4.99 at Borders and Borders Express!
